Overview

An afternoon of deliciously frightening musical fun!  Delight in the musical magic of Paganini’s The Witches’ Dance, music from Star Wars, frightening sounds, and even more bewitching music! Come dressed in your Halloween best for a costume contest for audience members (the orchestra and Severance Hall will be dressed up, too).

Free Pre-Concert Activities

Free pre-concert family activities begin at 2:00 p.m.

SUPER-SPOOKTACULAR COSTUME CONTEST
at the rear of the Concert Hall (on the Orchestra level)
    To enter the contest, join the line at the entrance to the Concert Hall auditorium from the Bogomolny-Kozerefsk Grand Foyer.  Ten prizes will be awarded.  Judging begins at 2:00 pm.  Awards will be announced just prior to the Halloween Spooktacular concert.  Dress your spooky best and join us for the fun.  Hosted by Maryann Nagel.

SING AND SWING
in the Smith Lobby (on the ground floor)
     Even the littlest musicians can join the fun with Sing and Swing's Play Along Jam. Children ages 0 to 5 can play an assortment of child friendly percussion instruments with their parents and the instructors from Sing and Swing.

INSTRUMENT DISCOVERY ZONE
with Royalton Music Center
in the Smith Lobby (on the ground floor)
     Kids can discover their “inner musician" by trying out orchestral instruments with the assistance of Royalton Music Center staff.

THRILLER DANCERS

     Watch Michael Jackson’s “Thriller" comes to life in Severance Hall as The Dance Centre performs the music and the moves, and more!

Severance Restaurant

Severance Restaurant at Severance Hall is operated by Marigold Catering and features contemporary American cuisine in an elegant setting.  

The restaurant is located on the street level of Severance Hall along East Boulevard.
