The Cleveland Orchestra has a long history in supporting education and in promoting musical activities and endeavors. This advocacy includes adult choruses to collaborate with the Orchestra in performance, as well as a community chorus for our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Chorus. In addition, the Orchestra operates a children's chorus and youth chorus and youth orchestra to promote a life-long interest in and love of music and to help promising young musicians prepare for careers in the arts. In addition, under the Orchestra's auspices, the Blossom Festival Band presents entertaining concerts each summer at Blossom, in the spirit of America's long tradition of concert wind ensembles and municipal bands.
