In 2011, the Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Möst performed concerts featuring the music of Anton Bruckner and John Adams.  In 2013, they’ll be the pit orchestra for fully staged opera performances direct from the Vienna State Opera, where Franz became general music director in 2010.
