All-American Cookout
Enjoy an All-American Cookout at Blossom before the concert! On select concerts of the 2010 Blossom Festival, Blossom chefs are grilling up a menu of burgers, sausages, and other all-American summertime favorites. You can purchase these at your convenience on the Blossom grounds prior to these concerts, or choose Blossom's regular food offerings — or bring your own picnic to enjoy!
The All-American Cookout will be located at the Lawn Terrace at the top of the Lawn seating area. The menu features hot dogs and hamburgers, grilled chicken and sausages, macaroni & cheese, potato salad, fruit salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob. Elmore Smith’s barbeque sauce (a specialty of the former Cleveland Cavs player) will also be featured, and Chef’s Specials will also be offered.
All-American Cook-out menu is offered on July 3 and 4,
and as part of Family Day on August 21.
In addition, the Blossom Grille is open for pre-concert dining. Dinner reservations can be made by calling 330-916-6063 Monday thru Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or after 4 p.m. on Festival concert nights.
Pre-Concert Activities
A variety of free pre-concert Family Day activities will be offered throughout the Blossom grounds prior to the concert on August 21. These will be open from 6 p.m. (when the Bossom grounds open) until just before the performance begins at 8:30.
Activities will include Tigger Inflatable Bouncer, a Pop-a-Shot “beat the clock” basketball game, a 22-foot Super Inflatable Slide, a clown and balloon twister, and face painters/temporary tattoo artists.
Menlo Park Academy will be giving away free flower seeds for families to take home and plant in their yards.
Comic Foregrounds will offer children and their family members to pose as a beautiful princess or scary pirate for photo ops. (You are encouraged to post your Princess and Priate photos to The Cleveland Orchestra’s Facebook page, along with other photos of your family having fun at Blossom Family Day.).
The Radio Disney Road Crew will also be on hand with music, games, and prizes. Patrons can participate in Disney activities and request your favorite Disney songs.
An exhibit about Cuyahoga Valley National Park will be on display at the Blossom Special Events Center in Smith Plaza, just inside the Main Gate. This offers concertgoers the opportunity to learn more about the wildlife and recreational activities available in the national park adjacent to Blossom Music Center.
