The Artists

Jahja Ling has been associated with The Cleveland Orchestra for over 25 years and was a member of the Orchestra's conducting staff 1984-2005. He recently completed his sixth season as music director of the San Diego Symphony and also maintains a career as an internationally renowned guest conductor. Ling holds the
title of music director laureate of the Florida Orchestra and for the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan. Read more about

Brazilian-born pianist Arnaldo Cohen enjoys a career that takes him to the major concert halls of Europe and North and South America. He made his Cleveland Orchestra debut at the 2003 Blossom Festival, and most recently performed here in July 2006. He first came to global attention after winning first prize at the Busoni International Piano Competition. Read more about
