The Artists

David Zinmanis has completed his 15th season as music director of the Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich. In 1998, he completed a 13-year tenure as music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. That same year, he became music director of the Aspen Music Festival and School, where he is also program director of the American Academy of Conducting. Mr. Zinman first conducted The Cleveland Orchestra in 1978. Read more about David Zinman.

Stephen Hough is widely regarded as one of the most important and distinctive pianists of his generation. In recognition of his achievements, he was awarded a prestigious MacArthur Fellowship in 2001, joining prominent scientists, writers, and others who have made unique contributions to contemporary life.
