Overview

Musically Speaking:  Mozart — Wunderkind to Man
For this edition of our Musically Speaking series, the great Hollywood actor John de Lancie writes, produces, and directs a unique look at one of the greatest composers of all time. As a wunderkind child performer, and as a creative musician. In the first half, the Orchestra performs excerpts of the “Haffner” Serenade to demonstrate important themes in the composer's life.  After intermission, the Orchestra presents a performance of movements from the Serenade interspersed with arias from Mozart's operas.

Before the concert, members of The Cleveland Orchestra perform a free prelude chamber concert in Reinberger Chamber Hall at 2:00 p.m.

After the concert, stay for a casual post-concert chat and Q&A with guest artists and musicians.
