Overview

Musically Speaking:  Prokofiev's Fifth Symphony
This Musically Speaking concert offers a Beyond the Score® presentation from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  This special multimedia presentation reveals the story behind Prokofiev’s Fifth Symphony, including details of the composer’s life that influenced its creation and its rich context in history.  A complete performance of the symphony is featured after intermission.

Before the concert, members of The Cleveland Orchestra
perform a free Prelude Concert in Reinberger Chamber Hall at 2 p.m.
