2007 Public Square Concert - FREE
| This year's FREE Public Square Concert under the direction of Franz Welser-Möst begins at 9:00 p.m. and will include works by Bernstein, Gershwin, Prokofiev and Leroy Anderson, as well as the perennial favorite, Tchaikovsky’s “1812” Overture, followed by a fireworks display. In addition to its 9:00 p.m. concert, The Cleveland Orchestra will also present a pre-concert festival of musical entertainment on Public Square, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The Cleveland Orchestra’s Star-Spangled Spectacular Concert and Festival will be hosted by ideastream’s Dee Perry, and the 9:00 p.m. concert will be broadcast live on 90.3 WCPN and WCLV 104.9 FM.
