December 10-19

The Cleveland Orchestra and Choruses join forces under the direction of Director of Choruses Robert Porco (December 10-18) and Assistant Conductor James Feddeck (December 19) for nine concerts of Christmas favorites from December 10-19. The concerts are part of the Orchestra’s 2010 Holiday Festival, running from December 4-22. Cleveland actors Dorothy and Reuben Silver will narrate “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” and Akron bass-baritone Brian Keith Johnson will be soloist in “The Wexford Carol” on the seasonal programs, which also feature beloved carols such as “O Come, All Ye Faithful” along with the “Hallelujah” Chorus from Messiah and “The Twelve Days of Christmas” – in which Robert Porco traditionally invites audience members to join in as soloists for the “five gold rings” chorus. An updated calendar for the Christmas Concerts at Severance Hall follows.

Families can arrive early for the 3:00 p.m. Christmas Concerts on December 11, 12, 18, and 19 to have Lunch with Santa in Severance Restaurant from 12:00 p.m. until 3 p.m. Call 216- 231-7373 or email reservations@clevelandorchestra.com for reservations.

Single tickets for all holiday events are now on sale. Tickets for groups of 10 or more are also available. Information on purchasing tickets is provided below.
