Music Director Franz Welser-Möst conducts The Cleveland Orchestra in a program featuring Richard Strauss’s Ein Heldenleben (“A Hero’s Life”) at Severance Hall on Thursday, January 13, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 15, at 8 p.m. The program opens with Wagner’s Overture to Tannhäuser, followed by Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Opus 54, with Radu Lupu as soloist. Mr. Lupu has appeared in numerous concerts with the Orchestra since making his American debut with the ensemble in 1972.

FREE CONCERT PREVIEWS

Rabbi Roger Klein, of The Temple – Tifereth Israel, will give a Concert Preview titled “Romantic Heroes” on January 13 and 15 at 7 p.m. in Reinberger Chamber Hall. This series is funded by a generous endowment gift from Dorothy Humel Hovorka.

Patrons may alternatively select the “Choose Best Available” option.

PRINT-AT-HOME TICKETS

Severance Hall patrons have the option of printing their tickets at home. Choose the “Print-at-Home” option on the Delivery Method page during online checkout.

Ticket Prices: (Add $5 for Saturday): Orchestra: $66, $44; Dress Circle: $87, $51; Balcony: $66, $51, $31.

Ticket Office: The Severance Hall Ticket Office is located in the Smith Lobby. The entrance and 15-minute Ticket Service parking are along East Boulevard. The Ticket Office is open 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Closed Sundays and holidays, except for those days with performances, when the Ticket Office opens 3 hours before concert start time.
