Semyon Bychkov conducts The Cleveland Orchestra
in Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
with Kirill Gerstein as soloist at Severance Hall
on October 7, 8, 9, and 10

Semyon Bychkov conducts The Cleveland Orchestra in a program featuring Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with pianist Kirill Gerstein as soloist, in his Severance Hall debut, on Thursday, October 7, at 8 p.m.; Friday, October 8, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, October 9, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, October 10, at 3 p.m. The concerts also include Johannes Brahms’s Symphony No. 3 and Maurice Ravel’s La Valse.

Russian-born pianist Kirill Gerstein, who made his Cleveland Orchestra debut at the 2008 Blossom Festival, became the sixth recipient of the coveted Gilmore Artist Award in January 2010.  For a video of Mr. Gerstein performing the first movement of Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2, click here.

Sasha Mäkilä, the Orchestra’s new assistant conductor, will give a Concert Preview one hour before each performance. The free Previews are in Reinberger Chamber Hall of Severance Hall. This series is funded by a generous endowment gift from Dorothy Humel Hovorka.

Severance Hall patrons can select their own seats online. Clicking on any “Buy Ticket” button on the calendar will link to the Ticket Reservations page. This ticket ordering page automatically displays the “Select Your Own Seat” option (if applicable). Patrons may alternatively select the “Choose Best Available” option.

PRINT-AT-HOME TICKETS
Severance Hall patrons have the option of printing their tickets at home. Choose the “Print-at-Home” option on the Delivery Method page during online checkout.

Ticket and Parking Information

Ticket Prices: (Add $5 for Friday and Saturday): Orchestra: $77, $51; Dress Circle: $101, $60; Balcony: $77, $60, $40.

Ticket Office: The Severance Hall Ticket Office is located in the Smith Lobby. The entrance and 15-minute Ticket Service parking are along East Boulevard. The Ticket Office is open 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Closed Sundays and holidays, except for those days with performances, when the Ticket Office opens 3 hours before concert start time.
