On Thursday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m., The Cleveland Orchestra invites you to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County for a relaxed and casual, yet passionate and intense evening of music – “Boléro with a Twist.” The program, with an early start time and no intermission, is a special, one-hour concert with family-friendly prices and music, sure to jump-start your weekend.

Costa Rican-born conductor Giancarlo Guerrero, music director of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, will lead The Cleveland Orchestra on Thursday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m., at the Adrienne Arsht Center in “Boléro with a Twist,” featuring Ravel’s Boléro. The program also includes Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, a Suite from Bizet’s Carmen, and Sarasate’s Gypsy Airs, with violinist Augustin Hadelich as soloist. Mr. Hadelich’s performances with The Cleveland Orchestra mark his Miami debut.

A Washington Post review of a recent performance by Augustin Hadelich commented, “Hadelich is in touch with the sunny side of the violin. He can dig in; he can probe it; he can make the instrument bark when the music calls for it. But his default seems to be the warm, lyrical joy of lilting melody.”
