Cleveland Orchestra Neighborhood Residency continues April 19 at The Nash (Slovenian National Home)

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Orchestra at home in Broadway Slavic Village Residency continues on Sunday, April 19 at “The Nash” The Slovenian National Home for a “Sunday Funday” day of musical performances and bowling. The event takes place from 12 noon – 6:00 pm.  The day starts with open bowling from 12 noon – 2:00 pm.  There will be an Instrument Discovery in the Lounge throughout the day. Beginning at 1:00 pm the following Cleveland Orchestra ensembles will perform.

Following the performances, there will be a bowling tournament from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  The Cleveland Orchestra will have 2 teams and there will be 8 teams from the community.  Plan to join us for a fun afternoon of music and bowling!

On Monday, April 20 at 9:30 am, a Musical Rainbow is being presented at Warner Girls Leadership Academy.   The performance is “The Velvet Violin” with Beth Woodside, Maryann Nagel, host and Laura Silverman, piano.  Warner Girls’ Leadership Academy is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. 

If you weren’t able to attend the concert at Our Lady of Lourdes last Friday, It will be shown on WVIZ/PBS Ideastream tonight (April 17) at 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 pm.
