This is a totally new style of concert at Severance Hall. Come early for a drink. The performance starts at 7. There’s no intermission. The music ends strong about 75 minutes later. And then there’s more food, drink and music, with guest artists from world music to jazz to chamber music. Support a fun, exciting, new event to provide reduced seating prices of three concerts for the price of two.
Musically Speaking
This series provides the insider’s guide to music, the love story behind the concerto, the folk tunes that inspired the symphony, designed not only for classical music aficionados, but also for newcomers looking to delve deeper into the world of classical music. Musically Speaking fuses live performance, video projections, and drama to illustrate the structure and story of each composition to an inquisitive audience.
Celebrity Series
The Cleveland Orchestra performs with celebrity artists who explore the avenues of orchestral music and stretch beyond the borders of the classical world. Movie scores, jazz riffs, Broadway, and more sounds from the world at large.
Holiday Festival
Each December the festival brings a variety of holiday music performed by The Cleveland Orchestra and Choruses in the festive splendor of Severance Hall.
Blossom Festival
Blossom Music Center, the idyllic summer home of The Cleveland Orchestra since 1968, is the setting for the ten-week Blossom Festival. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly. Lawn tickets are inexpensive, children under 12 are free, and a picnic is the perfect prelude to an evening’s entertainment.

Community Music Initiative
The Cleveland Orchestra’s commitment to education and community service began when the Orchestra was founded in 1918, and has remained a top priority ever since. Today, more than 70,000 area schoolchildren, teachers, families, young musicians and adult learners participate in the Orchestra’s educational programs at Severance Hall and in schools, libraries and community locations throughout the region – all designed to nurture a lifelong love of music.
