Concerts for Families
Our 2011-12 Season of concerts for families includes four Family Concerts (for ages 7 and up) and the PNC Musical Rainbow Series (for ages 3 to 6).

ONE-HOUR CONCERTS FOR AGES 7 & UP
Smiling faces, imaginative story-telling, entertaining guest artists, and, of course, incredible music are what make The Cleveland Orchestra’s Family Concert Series the perfect way to spend time with your family and encourage a young person’s love of music.

SCENES FROM TCHAIKOVSKY’S NUTCRACKER
Joffrey Academy Trainees of The Joffrey Ballet will join The Cleveland Orchestra to capture the magic of the holiday season in scenes from Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet. With contemporary choreography and some of the composer’s most memorable melodies.

30-MINUTE CONCERTS FOR AGES 3 TO 6
The Cleveland Orchestra's Musical Rainbow concerts are a fun way for young people ages 3 to 6 to learn about instruments of the orchestra, one at a time. Each program includes narration, participation, and sing-alongs with host Maryann Nagel and musicians and guests of The Cleveland Orchestra.
