Student Tickets

The Cleveland Orchestra offers several opportunities for students to attend concerts at reduced prices.  Many of these programs are subject to availablity, with options announced each week for that week's concerts.

Joining the Student Advantage Program also provides members with extra benefits, including free open rehearsals and opportunities to attend masterclasses given by guest artists.

Full-time college and high school students can sign up for the Student Advantage Program to receive emails featuring the latest updates on The Cleveland Orchestra, have access to special member-only events, and purchase tickets to hear the Orchestra at unbelievably low prices!

Student Advantage Benefits

Discount Tickets

Purchase advance tickets to Cleveland Orchestra performances at Severance Hall for as little as $10 until one hour before start time ($15 after that). Student tickets go on sale the Monday prior to performances and are subject to availability.

As a member of the Student Advantage Program, you will periodically receive special offers for additional discounts by email.

Open Rehearsals

On selected dates, you have the rare opportunity to witness a concert in the making and learn from the rehearsal techniques of a world-class orchestra, free of charge.

Jonathan Biss Master ClassMasterclasses

Led by world-renowned guest artists, masterclasses provide a fascinating window into the musicians’ learning experience. Student performers are selected in collaboration with area music faculty. All students may observe masterclasses free of charge.

Group Sales

Consider bringing your alumni, donor, faculty, or student groups to hear The Cleveland Orchestra for a great social event and concert-going experience – at a discount!

Student groups of 20 or more save 50% off single ticket prices for most concerts. For reservations or for more information, call the Group Sales Department at (216) 231-7463, or email groupsales@clevelandorchestra.com.

In Person: Visit the Severance Hall Ticket Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., through intermission on concert nights, and Sundays beginning 3 hours prior to concert time.

Members will receive a non-transferable “Student Advantage Program” membership card. Present this card, along with a valid student ID, at the time of purchase to receive your Student Advantage Program benefits.

Student Ticket Prices

  • $10 for tickets purchased up to one hour before the concert.
  • $15 for tickets purchased within one hour of the concert start time.

Limit of 2 student tickets per student ID, subject to availability. Please bring a valid student ID to purchase your tickets at this student price at the Severance Hall Ticket Office.

There are no student tickets currently available at the Severance Hall Ticket Office for any Cleveland Orchestra concerts.
