Dining at Severance Hall

From appetizers to coffee, Severance Hall offers delicious options for concert dining and intermission refreshments.

Severance Restaurant

Severance Restaurant at Severance Hall features contemporary American cuisine in an elegant setting and is perfect for a quick bite before the concert, a leisurely dinner with spectacular views, or even a custom-catered reception for a special event.

The restaurant, operated by Cleveland’s own Sammy’s, is located on the street level of Severance Hall along East Boulevard, overlooking the Wade Lagoon and Fine Arts Garden. Dining is also available seasonally on the Boulevard Terrace.

Severance Restaurant is open for all Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, and Cleveland Pops Orchestra concerts. Dining service begins two hours before each evening concert and immediately following matinee performances.

Reservations are advised.

Menus

Menus at Severance Restaurant change weekly and include a buffet selection of salad, entrees, and vegetables, and a choice of desserts served with coffee or tea. Salads, appetizers and desserts are available à la carte. The restaurant also offers an eleven-seat bar and an extensive wine list for your dining pleasure. Severance Restaurant welcomes guests who have special dietary needs or who require service assistance. Please ask a member of the service staff for assistance.

Concert Refreshments

Before concerts and at intermissions, Severance Hall offers wine, beer, cocktails, other beverages, desserts and light refreshments at lobby bars in the Smith Lobby on the street level, in the Bogomolny-Kozerefski Grand Foyer, and in the Dress Circle Lobby.
