Cleveland Orchestra Concert Previews take place one hour prior to classical subscription concerts at Severance Hall during our fall, winter, and spring seasons. Previews are designed to enrich the concert-going experience for audience members through interviews with conductors, guest artists, and Orchestra staff, and through exploration of the music by local and national experts. Heading to a concert? Check out the concert event page for details about the Concert Preview and speaker.
This series is funded by a generous endowment gift from Dorothy Humel Hovorka.
Music Study Groups
Unlock the magic of music with Cleveland Orchestra Music Study Groups led by Dr. Rose Breckenridge. Meet both new and experienced music lovers and explore the Orchestra’s ‘concert of the week’ through informal lectures, listening, and discussion at one of our convenient community locations.
The series covers the Severance Hall subscription season. Registrants may choose a length that best fits their schedules — selecting from fall, winter, and/or spring. The Listening Guide, a specially prepared booklet of program notes and musical themes for featured compositions, is included in the registration fee.
Persons with vision loss may attend a concert with support from The Cleveland Orchestra's Alice Cull Memorial Fund. For more information, call 216-231-7355 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
