The Cleveland Orchestra announces its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Award winners for 2022: Joan Southgate, Dolores White, and the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center. Established to recognize extraordinary contributions by individuals and organizations that have positively impacted Cleveland in the spirit of Dr. King’s teachings, the MLK Community Service Awards recognize these women and this organization for their outstanding contributions to the Cleveland community.

Jan 16, 2022 The Cleveland Orchestra announces 2022 Blossom Music Festival, presented by The J.M. Smucker Co.

Nineteen concerts are currently part of the 2022 Blossom Music Festival, which runs from Fourth of July through Labor Day weekends (July 2 – September 4) at the Orchestra’s scenic summer home nestled in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Subscriptions are on sale now, with individual tickets available for purchase on Monday, April 4.

Today, The Cleveland Orchestra announced details of the second season of In Focus, its digital streaming concert series on adella.live and the Adella digital streaming app. Following its successful launch in 2020 and series of fifteen episodes in Season 1, the second season of In Focus, running from February to June, includes a total of six new episodes.

Jan 10, 2022 The Cleveland Orchestra Cancels January 2022 Adrienne Arsht Center concerts and residency

The Cleveland Orchestra regrets to announce the cancellation of its 2022 Miami residency in partnership with the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. The decision has been made for the safety of the Orchestra and traveling staff due to the steady increase of Covid-19 cases and high transmission rating from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
