The Cleveland Orchestra announces details of the 17th year of its Miami residency in partnership with the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Spanning three weeks during the 2023-24 season, it includes concerts at the Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall with conductor Stéphane Denève on November 17 and 18, 2023 Cleveland Orchestra Music Director Franz Welser-Möst on January 26 and 27, 2024 and Karina Canellakis on February 2 and 3, 2024. The Cleveland Orchestra announced a $1 million gift to the Orchestra’s general endowment to establish the Gay Cull Addicott and Robert R. Cull Fund, from the estate of the late Gay Cull Addicott, a Cleveland Orchestra Trustee for Life. Gay served as a trustee from 2002 to 2022.

The Cleveland Orchestra announced the hiring of Jejuana C. Brown in the senior team role of Director of Diversity & Inclusion. Ms. Brown assumes this position starting Wednesday, January 11. Reporting directly to The Cleveland Orchestra’s President & CEO and in close collaboration with the Vice President, Human Resources, as well as all executive and senior leadership, the Director of Diversity & Inclusion is a new position responsible for guiding and implementing efforts to define, understand, assess, and cultivate diversity.
