This Veteran’s Day, prepare to be swept away by the power of music and memory as the Cinematic Symphony Orchestra makes its highly anticipated debut performance at Severance Music Center.
In a moving tribute entitled HEROES IN HARMONY, a sweeping 100-piece symphony orchestra and choir will honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of America’s veterans with an unforgettable program of iconic film scores that have immortalized the spirit of heroism on screen — and in our hearts.
This concert will bring to life the stirring music from legendary films such as Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Gettysburg, Glory, Pearl Harbor, The Patriot, Forrest Gump, and many others, painting vivid aural portraits of valor, sacrifice, and the unbreakable human spirit. This concert is not just a performance — it is a salute in sound to the men and women who have served.
Chief Warrant Officer 3 Aaron Burkle of the 28th Infantry Division Band will conclude this very special evening by conducting a rousing version of the U.S. Armed Forces Medley, as all veterans and active-duty military are invited to stand to be recognized for their service.
